Ethics and Courage in Government?
We the people look to our elected leaders in government to stand-up and speak-out with courage on the
issues of our time. We expect our leaders to be ethical regardless of party affiliation.

We elect our leaders to represent us—not just Corporate America and Special Interest Groups. The
American People want to trust and believe in their government.

Our nation’s great history has seen men and women speak-out under fear of personal harm—even
death. Today, far too many elected officials’ fear losing party support and support for their campaign
coffers.

We have serious issues with unfair trade agreements, failed border security, huge budget deficits,
exploding trade deficits, health care failures and a shrinking middle class.

Far too many of our government leaders are too busy trying to maintain power to conduct the peoples’
business. Lobbying reform? How about electing honest people?

We desperately need new leadership in our government. This Administration and many in Congress
show contempt for the will of the very people who elected them to office. This is our government—not
just the government “of the elite, by the elite, and for the elite.” Our Founding Fathers are turning over in
their graves!

We need more men and women willing to stand-up and speak-out for all the American People regardless
of their party affiliation.
