We look to our elected leaders in government to stand up and speak out on the issues of our time with
courage. We expect our leaders to be ethical regardless of party affiliation. We elect our leaders to
represent us, not just corporate America and special interest groups.
Today, too many elected officials fear losing party support and support for campaign coffers.
We have serious issues with unfair trade agreements, failed border security, huge budget deficits, and a
shrinking middle class. Our government leaders are too busy trying to maintain power to conduct the
people’s business.
We desperately need new leadership in government.
We are a nation of laws and open government. Secret government and spying without warrants is not what
our founding fathers had in mind when our great nation was founded.
